Client: Zirup – Vienna Based Creators

Zirup is a young architectural office in Vienna, providing creative solutions for construction projects and interior design alike.

Their presentational video leads through the metaphorical journey of someone who tries to build his dream house without professional help. Encountering severe problems doing so, he eventually gets rescued by the hand of Zirup.

The most important factor when creating the sound, was to get a feeling for what Zirup was all about. It soon became clear that it had to have an unconventional edge, yet still using some classic musical elements to give it some stability.

We then decided to divide the soundtrack into 3 stages, naturally following the plot of the clip. Sound wise I chose to combine minimalistic electronic percussion with several odd strings, to give it a modern, yet friendly touch.
